Meditate On This: New Year | Same God

In his book Unreasonable Hospitality, the author offers the question, “What would you do if you knew you could not fail?” If we are honest with ourselves, failure is a driving force in a lot of the decisions we make on a daily basis. The fear of failure has the ability to end future opportunities before we even embark on them.

In the book of Ephesians, Paul talks to a group of believers who need to be encouraged. This group needs a foundation for their faith that is rooted not only in the mystery of who God is, but also in the confidence that God gives us to be who we were created to be. It’s here that Paul writes, ”In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.“ This understanding allows us to have the confidence to go and share what God has placed on our hearts.

I believe that we are in a season in which we need to go. If we want to be a church that looks like Little Rock, we need to go and be in Little Rock. Instead of waiting on the church to come to us, let’s go to them. Over the next few months, we are going to offer various meeting points and gatherings both on our campus and outside. We ask that you pray for these gatherings and join us!
